on this website (hereinafter referred to as “offer”). The legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data/ server log files

The provider (or his web space provider) collects access data every time the offer (so-called server log files) is accessed. The access data include: name of the viewed website, file, date, and time of access, transferred data amount, notification upon successful access, type and version of browser, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider. The provider uses log data only for statistical analysis for purposes of operation, security, and optimization of the offer. The provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e., details that can be traced back to someone. These include the name, email address, or the telephone number. Furthermore, information on the person’s preferences, hobbies, memberships, or websites he/she viewed is also part of the personal data. The provider collects, uses, and passes on these data only if permitted by law or with the user’s consent. All customer-related and order-related personal data are encrypted using a secure SSL connection. Credit card information is not saved, but rather processed immediately by our payment service provider. We save the contract text and send the order details per email. The General Business Terms and Conditions can always be viewed. The order data can no longer be accessed via the internet due to security reasons.

Contacting and use of customer data

When you contact the provider (e.g., using the contact form or per email), your user details are saved within the scope of processing your request as well as for eventual follow-up issues. We use the data you provide to process and fulfill your order.

Comments and contributions

The user IP addresses are saved when users leave comments, reviews, and other contributions. This is done for security of the provider in case someone posts illegal comments, reviews, or contributions (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In such a case, the provider can be held liable for the comment and hence the interest in the identity of the composer.

Registration feature

The data entered during registration is for purposes of the offer. Users can be informed per email about offer-related or registration-related information such as various technical circumstances or changes in the range of offered products. The data collected can be seen in the input mask during the registration process. You can withdraw any given consent to the storage of your data at any time in the future by sending an email to info@salaine.com.

In case of activation of IP anonymization on this website, the IP address of the user is first shortened within the Member States of the European Union or other Member States of the European Economic treaty. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this site, Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and render further website and internet related to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser through Google Analytics will not be combined with any other Google data. Users can prevent the use of cookies through the appropriate setting on your browser; we however want to point out that in this case, one may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Users can also prevent the data compilation by the cookies relating to your usage of the website (incl. your IP address) as well prevent Google from processing these data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Use of Facebook Social Plugins

This website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the facebook.com social network which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are identified by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on blue tile or a “thumbs-up” sign). The list and the look of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins. If you call up one of our internet webpages which has such a plugin, your browser sets up a direct link to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is passed by Facebook direct to your browser and integrated into the website. This means that we have no influence over the extent of the data which Facebook obtains with the help of this plugin and we therefore inform you accordingly: Through integration of the plugin, Facebook obtains information that you have called up the respective page on our internet site. If you are logged on to Facebook, Facebook can directly link this visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugin, e.g., by clicking on the "Like-it-Button" or by posting a comment, the information will be directly shared with Facebook by your browser and stored there. Facebook can still find out and store your IP address even if you are not a Facebook member. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is saved in Germany. For information on the purpose and extent of data capture and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well your rights in this regard and turn-off options for the protection of your private sphere, please refer to the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our internet website and to link this with your data stored on Facebook, you need to sign out from Facebook before visiting our website. If you do not want Facebook to allocate your use of our website to your Facebook profile, you need to sign out from Facebook before visiting our website. You can also disable loading of Facebook plug-ins completely using add-ons on your browser e.g., the “Facebook Blocker”: http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/.

The Google +1 button

Our website uses the +1 interface provided by the Google Plus social network which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). This button is distinguished by the +1 symbol on a white or colored background. When you open a website of ours that has this kind of button, your browser will establish a direct connection with a Google server. The content of the +1 button is conveyed directly to your browser by Google and integrated into the website by your browser. We therefore do not have any influence on the scope of the data that Google is able to capture via this button. According to Google, if you do not click on the button, no personal data will be captured. Data ‒ including the IP address ‒ is only captured and processed from members who are logged into their account. Information about the purpose and extent of capturing this data and the further processing and use of the data by Google as well as your respective rights and options to protect your personal privacy can be found in Google’s data privacy notifications about the +1 button: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html, and in the FAQ section: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/. If you do not want Google to directly link data collected through our website to your Google+ profile, you must sign out of your Google Plus account before visiting our website. You can also block loading of Google plugins completely using add-ons on your browser, e.g., “NoScript”: http://noscript.net/.

Twitter

This website uses Twitter service buttons. These buttons are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They can be identified through terms such as “Twitter” or “follow” linked to a stylized blue bird. These buttons can be used to share a post or page on this website in Twitter as well as follow the provider on Twitter. If you call up a website that has such buttons, your browser builds a direct connection with Twitter servers. The content of the Twitter buttons is directly transmitted to the user’s browser by Twitter. The provider therefore does not have any influence on the scope of the data that Twitter collects using this plugin and therefore inform the user accordingly. After this, only the user’s IP address transmitted with the URL of the respective website through the buttons is conveyed and is not used for any other purposes other than the display of the button. More information on this can be found in the Twitter Data Privacy Statement at http://twitter.com/privacy. If you do not want Twitter to directly link data collected through our website to your Twitter account, you must sign out of Twitter before visiting our website. You can block loading of Twitter plugins completely using add-ons on your browser e.g., using "NoScript": http://noscript.net/.
